Kavaca ION is manufactured on a modern production line of the latest generation. The combination of the best equipment and innovative technologies, as well as highly qualified personnel, allows achieving excellent product quality. A high-class QA system reduces the possibility of defects to a minimum.
One of the main issues with PPF is premature yellowing. It happens due to the influence of UV rays and contamination with dust microparticles that etch into the film and can no longer be washed out even using chemicals.
Kavaca ION, on the other hand, is practically immune to UV due to the specific composition and distribution of molecules. Additionally, a layer of Ceramic Pro ION Top effectively blocks the access of dust to the pores, canceling out this yellowing factor altogether.
That is why Kavaca ION consistently outperforms any PPF in this aspect. Both laboratory comparative studies and field tests prove it.
While it can’t prevent the appearance of water spots, unlike PPF, Kavaca ION is protected by the hydrophobic layer of Ceramic Pro ION Top Coat. It does not allow minerals in the water to etch into the film, and any water spot can be removed easily.
Kavaca ION uses a special version of Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) as the glue. We call it Nano PSA. Its molecules are extremely small and distributed in a dense and orderly fashion, which allows the glue to be completely transparent and provide excellent adhesion. In addition, it does not require using a primer for folds, even the smallest ones. It makes it easier for the installer to achieve a flawless film installation.
To date, Kavaca ION is the only surface protection film that uses Nano PSA.
